1. Outdoor Leadership Instruction & Experiential Learning Facilitation

For Outdoor/Experiential Education, Recreation majors, and teacher-prep cohorts. Students build advanced skills in outdoor leadership, instruction, and facilitation through practical fieldwork, cultural immersion, and risk management labs.

3. Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability in Aotearoa

For Environmental Studies, Geography, and Sustainability majors. Immerses students in New Zealand’s ecological challenges and bicultural approaches to guardianship through fieldwork, cultural dialogue, and sustainability workshops.
