Kaimais Rogaine
We have developed an exciting event based on the Kaimais. This Rogaine requires groups of up to 8 students to work together over a 24/48 hour period to visit as many locations and complete as many tasks as possible. The activities could include mountain biking, navigate, abseil and climbing, archery, swimming plus various initiatives challenges. We have successfully delivered this for Carmel College and Howick College and would love to share this with more schools. The event is designed to support assessment for achievement standard 2.4 as well as unit standards 425, 426 and a 431 Types of groups that currently include our courses in their programmes:

Challenge course programs
Challenge Course Programmes. Our programmes produce meaningful changes in groups and individuals. They are not just an outdoor recreation activity, they are a personal and social change process that uses Challenge Courses as the medium for the development of interpersonal, social, communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Supporting schools unique needs
What we do best is work with a school to identify the best type of program to meet the objectives and outcomes that the students need. Every school has different needs and different timetabling, budgeting and other restrictions. Sometimes, it works for teachers to do some of the classwork using our resources before and after an event. This reduces the cost of our involvement and increases the continuity of engagement with students. Or, we can take full responsibility for the delivery of units of work including visiting the school during class time With Mark's experience designing, writing programs and delivering programs were able to work with you to work out how to support you to best meet your needs. |
Other unit standards
We have a huge range of unit standards that we have consent to assess for. Mark is involved with the review of unit standards at levels 1 to 3 and contributing to the writing of the high ropes unit standards. If you have any questions about what could be used to support your program get in touch. ![]()
