NCEA Catchup Unit Standard Courses
Adventure Works Outdoor Education NCEA provides students at level 2 and 3 the opportunity to gain credits for NCEA while participating in engaging and fun outdoor adventure activities. Our courses include Rock Climbing, Personal Development, High Ropes, Mountain Biking, Kayaking and Tramping.
All activities are facilitated by experienced instructors who have technical and safety skills as well as group and personal development facilitation skills. Participants will be in a mixed group, through this experience they will make new friends and build confidence meeting new people.
Working with students aged between 14 and 18 is our core work. We understand what it takes to provide the psychological, physical and emotional safety when people are learning new skills and participating in a group. We also understand the responsibility we have in communication with parents and preparing families for taking the next step in having a go at something a little less ordinary.
